ABOUT F-16 FIGHTING FALCON
The F-16 Fighting Falcon is one of the most successful fighter aircraft and a legend in its category. It first flew in 1974 and has served in many armies around the world ever since. The aircraft celebrates its 50th anniversary this year and is still a vital part of the modern air force. It was manufactured by General Dynamics and later by Lockheed Martin. Over 4,600 have been produced in half a century, making it the most widely used Western fighter. Compared to the Russian MIG-21, however, it lags far behind, with 11,000 produced.
The F-16 Fighting Falcon is a single-engine, multi-role fighter aircraft that is capable of reaching supersonic speeds. It is equipped with advanced avionics and weapons, allowing it to successfully fight in air combat as well as attack ground targets. The F-16 is capable of manoeuvring and performing aerial acrobatics with incredible agility. It has the ability to reach speeds of up to 2,414 km/h.
The F-16 Fighting Falcon has participated in many important missions and military operations around the world, including the Gulf War, the war in Afghanistan and the war in Iraq. The aircraft has been able to successfully protect allied military positions and effectively engage enemy targets, earning it the respect of military experts and pilots in all countries that use the F-16.
ABOUT F-16 TIGER DEMO TEAM POLAND
The team was established in 2015 to demonstrate the capabilities of the F-16 fighter aircraft to the public. The team consists of a total of 20 people who work together to ensure that the demonstrations are conducted with the utmost safety and accuracy. The team is made up of experienced pilots who oversee the safety of the manoeuvres being demonstrated. In addition to them, the team also includes a commentator who provides live commentary during the demonstration and gives the audience an insight into the various manoeuvres performed by the aircraft.
To ensure the aircraft is ready for take-off, the team also has technicians on hand to carry out routine maintenance and checks on the aircraft. These technicians are highly skilled and work to ensure that the aircraft is in optimum condition before each display. Another important part is the logistics staff who provide the rest of the team with everything they need.
The most important part of the team is the highly experienced pilot Captain Maciej "SLAB" Krakowian, who impresses the audience with his superb piloting of the F-16 Fighting Falcon. His performance includes a series of incredible manoeuvres in which he shows us the speed, agility and unpredictability of the aircraft in combat. Captain Krakowian's demonstration will also showcase some of the most impressive maneuvers the F-16 can perform, including loops, rolls and high-G turns.
